TheTitansήταν οι πανίσχυρες πρωταρχικές θεότητες της Αρχαίας Ελληνικής Μυθολογίας, παιδιά τουUranusandGaia, που προηγήθηκαν των Ολύμπιων θεών. Αντιπροσώπευαν κοσμικές δυνάμεις της φύσης, του χρόνου, της μνήμης και της τάξης του σύμπαντος. Στους πιο γνωστούς Τιτάνες συγκαταλέγονται οCronus, -Rhea, theOceanus, -Themis, -Mnemosyne, theHyperionandIapetus.
Η κυριαρχία των Τιτάνων τερματίστηκε με τηνTitanomachy, τον κοσμικό πόλεμο εναντίον των Ολύμπιων θεών με αρχηγό τονZeus. Μετά την ήττα τους, οι περισσότεροι Τιτάνες φυλακίστηκαν σταTartarus, ενώ ορισμένοι συνέχισαν να παίζουν σημαντικό ρόλο στη θεϊκή και ανθρώπινη τάξη. Οι μύθοι των Τιτάνων εξηγούν τη μετάβαση από το αρχέγονο χάος στη θεϊκή τάξη και αποτελούν θεμέλιο της ελληνικής κοσμογονίας.
